It all started when...
I became annoyed at digging through multiple websites trying to find all the information about a single plant. Honeysuckle if you want to know. Then after three sites I finally turned to my guide books... then another guide book... then another guide book... and I finally found the single sentence I was looking for that described how the plant propagates. To be fair that's not particularly useful for identifying the plant but it is for predicting where it'll become a problem.
At that point I decided that it was time to stop waiting around for other people to do this and start doing it myself. It's my job after all to help people better manage their land for the benefit of wildlife. Information is the greatest tool we have and the ease of access of that information is the best way to spread it.
